About Joey
Joey Fishing
Fishing has been the one thing that grabbed my attention and hasn’t let go since I was old enough to walk. It has been an amazing ride full of so many ups and downs and learning opportunities, but most importantly, life changing events and memories that will last a lifetime.
Through my 15 years of professional fishing, I was blessed with 2 Bassmaster Open wins and 2 Bassmaster Classic appearances in 2022 and 2024! I’ve been so blessed to establish a successful guide business, and I love teaching people, young and old, how to pattern and catch fish.
That being said, the opportunities that I cherish the most are when I get to build relationships and invest in people’s lives! When I was 19, I put my faith and trust in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and while I’ve stumbled many times, my life has never been the same.
I am now the Family Connections Pastor at my home church, Seddon Baptist Church, along with competing in the ABT 100’s, the ABT South, and boat captaining for my sons highschool fishing team. I still have a passion for fishing, but being a fisher of men is where my heart truly is!
Matthew 4:19
“And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
God Bless,
Joey Nania
