Joey Nania – 19th Place in Bassmaster Southern Open #1 200 Pro Angler Field on Toho – Kissimmee, Florida

As you may know by now, Joey Nania had a tough day on Toho for day two bagging only 1 keeper, however his big day-one bag kept him in the top 20 for big points, a decent paycheck and his best finish ever in three pro tournament attempts in Florida.

From Joey:  “It would have been great to have one more keeper and make the final day of fishing, but I am extremely happy with 19th place in a tough field of pros on a tough body of water.  Each time I am here I figure it out a little more.”

Joey returns to Alabama today to get in some guide trips before going on tour to the Atlanta Bass Pro Shops Store for their Spring Fishing Classic promotion February 6,7,8.  Joey will be doing seminars in the store Friday evening and noon – 5 pm Saturday and Sunday. He is allowed to show off his sponsor products in each of his presentations.

Joey will also be attending the Bassmaster Classic guest of Nitro Boats and will work his way around to spend time with sponsors and fishing fans.

Next hard core tournament action is scheduled for the Alabama Bass Trail on Guntersville February 28.  Joey’s complete schedule is available on his website at www.joeyfishing.com.  And please be sure to watch Sweetwater Fishing TV on Destination America, NBC Sports or the Outdoor Channel.  Show times and previous episodes are available at www.sweetwaterfishingtv.com.
