The weather hit a scorching 100 degrees with a light breeze. Joey only had one fish in the boat by 9 am, "I just put my head down and grinded it out," he said. "On the first day, I caught my first fish at 9 o'clock and had a limit by 10:30. Today, I caught my first fish at 9 and didn't get my limit until there was just 5 minutes to go before I had to come in." Joey reached down into a pile of sticks 3 feet deep to pull his last keeper into the boat.  Joey added, “This is a great competition and a great team effort and I hope all of theWashington anglers catch good limits tomorrow and we walk away with the team title.”
